About Me

Hi there! My name is Catherine, but most know me as Kadie. Having graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, I am now a burgeoning public relations specialist, passionate about applying my interpersonal and written communications skills to build meaningful relationships with clients and create remarkable work within the sports industry.

California born, Florida and Oregon raised, my journey to the University of Oregon was led by my passion for sports. Growing up, tennis was a paramount commitment in my life. Day in and day out, I was consumed by the game, so much so, that I was able to compete on the University of Oregon Women’s Varsity Tennis Team. My enthusiasm for sports however, goes well beyond just tennis, as I am absorbed by an array of sports.

The foundation of who I am today, is heavily resulted from my participation in sports. The characteristics I’ve acquired through playing the game will undoubtedly stay with me as I continue on my journey in life.

I am a hardworking individual who loves using grit to face any challenge or adversity thrown my way. This drive that I have is the avenue that led me to discover my curiosity and motivation to work in the sports PR industry. My dedication and passion for sports is what inspires me to reach my goal of hopefully gaining a career in the sports PR industry someday, wherever that may take me.

Hole in One PR is a blog dedicated to giving insight about the latest what’s what in the world of sports PR industry. Here you will find posts about PR tactics used in sports organizations, events, and players within the industry.
